Q. How many pages can a student print from an ebook?

It varies by e-book platform.  The Burritt Library has four main e-book platforms. This chart will help you determine how much can be printed or saved from each platform.

Yes, ebrary allows downloads in .pdf and .epub to Kindle Fire, Nook, iPad, and other applications.  Adobe Digital Editions is needed to download in epub, these checkouts have a loan period of 14 days. An app such as Bluefire (or similar) must be installed to read.

 

An ebrary login is required for downloads.

Titles are only available to one person at a time.  When printing or downloading content in .pdf, only 10% of texts can be accessed at a time.

Yes, ebsco ebooks allows downloads in .pdf and .acsm.  To read entire texts on your Kindle Fire, iPad, and other devices, you must have the Bluefire (or similar app) installed on the device and an Adobe Digital Editions installed.
